I’m taking part in a 3 week exhibition in Edinburgh, beginning March 9th 2009. A wonderful fellow by the name of Colin Knight got in touch a few weeks back about an exhibition in Edinburgh, called “Fantasy Art”. There are 6 artists taking part, all of us submitting 12 pieces. I won’t start gushing about the other artists here for fear of embarassing myself - suffice to say, they are all phenomenal.

Harald Seiwert, a great guy and fellow artist, contacted me last year to take part in a month-long exhibition in the ABC Treehouse Gallery in Amsterdam, from Nov 1st to 30th 08. It was called ‘The Art of Pushing Pixels’.

I had the pleasure of working on a promotional ‘zoomquilt’ for the Sci-Fi Channel mini-series ‘Tinman’, called the Infinite Oz Experience. I worked on the piece with some amazing artists in the summer of 07, and we just heard recently that it won a Gold Medal at the London International Awards 08 - in the Entertainment Category of Digital Media.

In early 2008, I was contacted by a Swedish designer, Martin Willers, about a project called the Library Bus, or Bokbuss. There were four artists involved; myself, Linda Bergkvist, Sven Nordqvist and Matt Gaser. Our work was used in combination to cover the bus from top to bottom. The idea behind this project was to give kids in more remote areas of rural Sweden access to books. It was a really special project to be involved in!

Gloaming Born consists of about 200 layers, using both photographic and painted elements. It was designed as a mural for my daughter, and is filled with many creatures. Details from the image are included here.
